D-Day, and the Pre-Registration
First off, let me just say that I've played at several Battlefront scenarios in the past, and they have been the most fun I've had with scenario/woodsball. Period. Your set-up is great, the teams/scenarios are usually balanced, and the only thing that I ever witness that you'd need to work on is wiping (oh my, one of the last scenarios I was at had some mad wiping). However, the wiping is more of a player decision, so I would never hold that against you.
I was planning on attending your D-Day Scenario on June 6th, but I had a question about pre-registration. I noticed it said it would save you $10. However, whenever I get to the end of the process, right before 'check out', it still has the same amount of money as I would be spending if I paid on the day of. Do I have to go into secure checkout to get the discount, or what? I was guessing it was taking $10 off the usual $25 admission fee, but in this case it still is charging me $25.
Any help is appreciated. I'd really like to get pre-registered for this event.
-Michael
Oh, and please let this thread also contain any general discussion about this event. I'd be excited to hear what everyone is planning.

Re: D-Day, and the Pre-Registration
Hey WolrdStrike,
I believe the at the door fee for D Day is actually $35 if I'm not mistaken.
D Day should be pretty intense and will incorporate a beach landing
like nothing the field has done before. If you're on the American
side, expect a smoke-filled beach with obstacles that will need to be
cleared before proceeding while under fire from nearly all sides. If
you're on the German side, expect to have control over mortar rounds as
well as an AT gun to knock out large groups of players and any armor
that they may bring, as they try to fight their way off the beach.

I really don't mind pay it either. The games are always amazing, I've never been let down. It's worth it if you ask me. Although, any more than $35 and I might start to feel differently...

I got initiated by the Dog Soldiers via the "potted meat" also. Let me tell you, once is enough. You gotta do it, but that st!t like.... 40% salt. Plus it doesn't have a shelf life, it has a "half-life". It never goes bad, but then again it never started off as good either. (no offense)
Not to be too off subject, but as far as scenario costs go, most fields charge $45+ for scenarios plus and outrageous paint cost. I realize that no-one is really complaining but for everyone else who reading this thinking that the cost is too much, I just thought I would point that out.

Re: D-Day, and the Pre-Registration
WorldStrike:Thanks for the responses. One last quick question: I still have paint left over from the last time I got to play a scenario at Battlefront, which was last summer (college prevents it during the year). I know you guys typically change colors, but is it still okay to use the paint I bought there last time? Thanks.
As of World at War all new paint must be bought. Reason being is they have all their paint switched to the same fill, and now it makes it much easier to catch smugglers.

the short answer is "no". your paint is now only good for practice & outlaw games :)
