    Re: USA Draft

    Raider:
Its not bribing so much as what ability best fits my playing style. This affects my entire game day.

I think Mike (equalizer) is being very diplomatic with his answers. I would expect nothing less than that from a player who going to be a general. As U.S.  xo, allow me to be more direct on this topic and a few others. Whether or not you know the "special ability" will make ZERO difference. I mean no disrespect to you Raider, or anyone else for that matter by this, so allow me to clairify this and enlighten you and anyone else who thinks they "need to know".

    1. The special ability affects the TEAM. It is not designed to superhuman any particular player. None of the abilities will affect YOU, as a player. They are there to provide the Faction leaders with tactical advantages that are only effective if your players are working together, AS A TEAM, in the first place. I dont care if you get to respawn where-ever you want to, have some sort of super air strike, get special intel, or have robotic pod monkeys feeding your hopper. The abilities are the GENERAL's and are at his disposal.

    2. I started the whole "leadership nominations" thread for a reason. It was to see who people would be willing to follow and put their faith into to win. Is it a popularity contest, sometimes. But it should have also been a "who field reputation is the best" contest. I know of at least one of those generals that was nom'd and had quite a few votes, based on his field rep. Now I'm not knocking the other ones, who may or may not have lead before. Thats not the point I'm making. If you following your buddy into "battle" just cause he's your buddy, then your a good friend. However, if your willing to take orders from a player, and those he deems compotent to make squad leaders, based on his ability, then you have to trust that "general" when it come to whether or not he is going to tell you something at this stage in the game. For all who have never led before, know this, the game has already started, we just havent a shot yet. Countless emails and text messages have been traded based on strategy, recruiting people whom you trust, and last minute ideas. Trust us, if a general is keeping something from you, there IS a reason. And it's not to power trip or anything. We love input. It makes our jobs easier. There is a 'tactical' purpose when ANY of the generals decide to withhold info.

And one last thing...... Niether Mike, myself, nor any other U.S. leadership representative will bribe, beg, or plead with anyone to join this faction. If you wish to play on the winning side, then you know where we'll be. We have nothing but respect for those who have put their truct in us, and hope to never disappoint. If "1st STRIKE"s win column isn't enough for you to trust us, then you are welcome to settle for 2nd or 3rd place. I will not smack talk and clutter up other threads when this is clearly the one to be monitoring. ( i will however smack talk here, starting now!) I don't care what "other" teams are doing. It will make little difference come 5pm April 19th, when we roll off the field victorious, YET AGAIN. Don't you people get it yet. WE PISS PERFECTION!!!  nuff said.

    Raider:
WAYYY TO LONG... i skimmed it. And i do believe theres a huge difference in the special ability russia had (instant respawn) which would benefit more aggressive players vses lets say mortor strikes which would help defensive (offense to...) more. not a huge deal but...

To sum up, don't sweat the special abilities so much because you're not likely to have much control over them anyway.  If you have a reasonable understanding of WWII, then you can probably guess what all the abilities are from earlier posts.

    Re: USA Draft

Just want to publicly welcome team Biohazard to the US alliance.  These guys have actually been with us since late Feb., but we opted to keep things quiet for a while as things got organized and people got preregistered.  Biohazard was one of the driving forces behind the NVA win back in August and we really look forward to joining forces with them again.  On top of a rather large group, they bring with them a nice mixture of experience, teamwork and technology.  True sportsmen, they'll be helping to turn the USA into a wrecking machine come 4/19.

Good to have you guys with us again!

Finally, no more hiding our numbers. I told you all that the "recruiting" had begun, lol. I can't wait to actually get to be the field this time. It will be a refreshing change of pace for me. Now if only I can remember which end of the A-5 barrel to look down.....

Oh well, I guess I can always use my ACP2 pistol. It got a few kills at TET, lol.......

I'm going to have you be my unarmed negotiator.  Lol.  :)  My goal is to see how many times I can get you to go to Battlefront and not actually play paintball.

    Re: USA Draft

That's true.  Maybe I won't do that then.  :)  Besides, after going to Battlefront and not getting an opportunity to really play the last few times, I'm sure he has plenty of pent up aggression that could be better directed towards the enemy...

    Re: USA Draft

(and the smack continues...) Oh I got something for'em Mike. XO gonna stand for "X-tra Ordinance" on 4/19. I have recently aquired lots more time to plan and "build" for this one. I'll even bring a little extra for all these "kids" running around on the forum, talking smack like they got something to back it up with.

How many of these little "1/2 star" generals do you think have even BEGUN to plan, outside of begging some of the forum "lounge rats" to be on their team. I'll give all you other generals your winning strategy right here. Send your negotiator to me or Mike with half your teams gold, and I'll redirect the U.S. troops away from over-running your HQ. There will be no "Helo-lifting" yourself out of harms way come 4/19.

You may all now send your plea's for mercy on a self-addressed postcard to "US draft", attention "Hannibal, please don't beat me like a rented mule, sincerly (your pitiful faction's name HERE)". I'll be here waiting ladys.

Thank you bdKarma, I'd like to accept the "Internet" award on behalf of everyone else who doesn't want to hear a bunch of children bitching on the forum after the game about how "It wasn't fair, the "U.S." hammered us like a dull nail all day long".
