    Savephace masks

Are these masks worth the money (other than the paint jobs)? Thanks.

I'm testing one and so far I like it. Ask me about it next time you see me.

    Re: Savephace masks

One of my friends has the save phace "Hoorah" mask and he hated it cause it always fogged on him...but then he got thermal lenses and since then he hasn't complained about fog so if you go with save phace get the thermal lense.

    Re: Savephace masks

I hear profilers are good but i have the Grill...its amazing, never fogs on me and is really comfortable...i dunno crap about the savephace masks tho.  But yea the Vforce Grill is amazing, has just as good if not better field of vision as profiler.

    Re: Savephace masks

yea idk about save phace masks.

they dont seem to have much ventilation. and theres very tiny holes so when u talk itll sound like you yelling into a cave. i would go with the profiler becuz its easier to communicate with people. and communication is key in this sport. Also check out the proto axis goggles. i love mine. but if u want good looks go for the save phace.

    Re: Savephace masks

Yea i really dont care that much about the looks. the thing that draws me to savephace the most is the really tight profile they have, thats what ive been looking for when shopping for a new mask.

    Re: Savephace masks

The new dye I4 has a tight profile so much that if you have a big boy jaw it sticks out a little bit, but if the size of halfpint then your okay. Through my years jt has done me good and my avatar vents are pwn. I've had a lot of bounces off them ones that I thought for sure broke but the reff just looks at me like I'm slow. When I ask him if there's a break there or not. So I say vents are the best.

They don't always look at you like you're slow?

    You are slow.

Anyways, yea the Dye Ix series were awesome and I have used them since I started playing, but the I4s, even for daltons size, your jaw will still get rocked. (Contrary to what you may think cough scotty cough yes it will hurt, very badly). I went with e-vents and they are amazing, for field of view and comfort.

As far as save phace goes imo you are paying for the paintjob. Ivan told me some things about them that proved otherwise, but I am not sure if he has fully reviewed them or not.

The mask is one thing where you get what you pay for, ecspecially for anti-fog.
